Beyond Borders - Neighbours Together

Beyond Borders – Neighbours Together is a long-term strategic project on youth cooperation between programme and partner countries within Erasmus+ Youth and European Solidarity Corps programmes. Its objectives are:

• to build sustainable, lasting, quality partnerships: build youth partnerships between programme and neighbouring partner countries, prioritising sustainability and long-term relevance.
• to sustain a continuous ecosystem for cooperation: sustain and deepen dynamics for the youth cooperation, by empowering and supporting the structures, networks, and institutional anchors.
• to bridge EU youth programmes with local youth work realities: connect EU youth programme priorities, policies, and strategies with the specific needs, contexts, and expertise of youth work in the neighbouring partner countries.
• to support full participation of organisations and youth workers: ensure that organisations and youth workers from all involved countries, especially those new to international cooperation or operating in less-resourced contexts, can participate fully, on equal terms, and with growing competence.
• to enhance visibility and shared knowledge: raise the visibility of and knowledge about the youth cooperation  between programme and neighbouring partner countries towards relevant stakeholders.
• to strengthen resilience for international youth cooperation in a changing political landscape: support youth organisations, youth workers, and their networks in understanding, adapting to, and working constructively within a diversity of political and geopolitical contexts.

Meant for

National Agencies, European Commission and other institutional stakeholders, Youth organisations, youth workers and other practitioners from the youth work field from Erasmus+ programme countries and neighbouring partner countries (third countries not associated to the Programmes) interested in the cooperation.

• Trainings to development competences;
• Stakeholder conferences and policy development;
• National Agencies staff meetings;
• Information and communication: web portal, newsletter, social media;
• Research and advocacy work.
