Activity objectives
What will we explore?
The session will address:
- Framing the economic context: Why financial literacy is a critical life skill for young people today and how youth work can bridge the gap.
- Real stories, real impact: A guest expert will join us to share their knowledge and first-hand experience.
- Actionable methods in practice: Concrete approaches to integrating financial education into your daily programs and youth projects.
- The Youth@Work Ecosystem: How the Youth@Work Strategic Partnership can support your journey and future projects.
- Co-creation & networking: Space to share your own ideas, vision, and connect with peers across Europe.
Description
This session focuses on practical ways to integrate financial education into your daily youth work, including activities and frameworks to address money management, budgeting, and financial decision-making in everyday youth activities.
Why should you join?
You will gain fresh tools, practical methodologies, and non-judgmental frameworks to make money conversations natural, supportive, and grounded in young people's actual lives. You do not need to be a financial expert to help young people build confidence and real control over their financial futures.
Who is it for?
The webinar is open to youth workers, educators, youth leaders, project managers, and anyone interested in youth empowerment and social change. No prior background in finance or economics is required!
