Description
Since 2019, the Mladost (je) ni norost conference by Javni zavod Mladi zmaji has brought together people passionate about improving youth mental health - offering space to share knowledge, inspire each other, and grow together. In 2025, it will broaden its horizons, transforming into an international three-day residential experience that unites the depth of a training course with the reach and energy of a professional conference.
Over the course of three days, 50 international participants - and an extra 50 national participants from Slovenia joining on day three - will dive into the theme of support systems for youth workers, exploring it through three interconnected lenses:
- Individual – How do youth workers care for their own wellbeing when working with young people in distress?
- Organisational – What structures, guidelines, and protocols can organisations provide to strengthen and protect their staff?
- Community – How can we build and sustain strong local networks and interdisciplinary collaborations?
Aim
To connect, empower, and equip youth workers and other professionals working with young people with knowledge, tools, and strategies for sustainable support systems.
