Behind every TCA is a network of National Agency colleagues – TCA Officers & a TCA Team - collaborating to organise each seminar.

We support this community through regular meetings, thematic exchanges, and peer learning opportunities. With tools, sharing practices, and systematic coordination, we help them deliver high-quality and well-organised activities that align with European priorities and needs.

Meetings & Trainings

We connect and strengthen the TCA community through our flagship events:

  • Officers’ Week – biannual gatherings for strategic planning, exchange, and skill-building.

  • Working Group Cafés – regular online meetups to discuss hot topics, challenges and share solutions.

  • Newcomer Induction Days – tailored introductions for new TCA Officers.

  • Thematic trainings – on Erasmus+ priorities, or skill trainings co-organised with experts or horizontal priority SALTO Resource Centres.

  • LTA Coordinators’ Community – a network for those leading long-term collaborative projects.

We also represent the TCA Network in meetings with the SALTO Network, the European Commission, at NA events and NA Directors' Meetings.

Resources & Tools

Our toolbox for TCA Officers includes:

  • Online training courses and guides, such as The TCA Lifecycle and The Golden Routes of TCA Management.

  • Newsletter and news stream on SALTO-ET to keep the network informed and connected.

  • Research studies to support evidence-based planning and improvement.

The SALTO-ET Platform

We develop and operate the platform, which is the central hub for TCAs in Education & Training. NA colleagues publish and manage events, access participant data, share news, activity outcomes, and coordinate with other NAs, while beneficiaries can find, apply for, and stay updated on opportunities.

We also run Helpdesk for applicants and NA colleagues, and provide guidance materials to make the event management and application process smoother for everyone.

The annual TCA cycle
Planning and delivering TCAs is a strategic process. Each year, National Agencies assess European and national priorities, listen to beneficiary needs, and identify expertise worth sharing, whether through a single event or a multi-year Long-term Activity (LTA).

They then plan and coordinate activities— in partnership with other NAs—select participants, promote opportunities, assess applications, arrange travel, and gather feedback to measure impact.

We support them at every step with strategic guidance, peer learning, practical tools, and knowledge transfer from the European Commission, ensuring even newcomers can navigate the TCA process with confidence.
