Activity objectives
- To explore and exchange good practices in para sports to promote para sports across different national contexts.
- To develop a shared understanding of existing barriers and brainstorm practical solutions.
- To gain new perspectives on how to make sport truly borderless and accessible for people with physical disabilities.
- Visit Austrian organisations and see para sports initiatives in action.
- To provide a comprehensive introduction to the Erasmus+ programme in the youth and sport sectors.
- Build networks for future Erasmus+ projects and collaborations.
Description
This study visit brings together 15 practitioners (volunteers or professionals from programme countries to explore and exchange good practices, tackle challenges, visit Austrian organisations involved in para sports and build lasting international partnerships
Costs
Coverage of participation fee
This project is financed by the participating National Agencies (NAs) of the Erasmus+ Youth in Action Programme. The participation fee varies from country to country. Please contact your National Agency or SALTO Resource Centre (SALTO) to learn more about the participation fee for participants from your country.
Coverage of travel costs
Please contact your National Agency (NA) or SALTO to confirm whether they can support your travel costs. If your travel is supported, once selected, kindly reach out to your NA or SALTO again for detailed instructions on how to proceed with booking your travel tickets and arranging the reimbursement of your travel expenses.

The hosting National Agency will cover the costs for accommodation and food from 24th September 2026 to 27th September 2026. Accommodation in single rooms.
