Activity objectives

The objectives and purpose of the study visit is for participating municipality representatives to:

  • be inspired and learn how municipalities in Estonia work with the European youth programs
  • exchange experiences how the European youth programs can be used to increase young people's participation and inclusion
  • network and build partnerships with other municipalities for future collaborations within the framework of European youth program

 Programme and Expectations for Participants

The study visit will last for three days and is based on non-formal learning, meaning your own involvement and engagement will be important in order for you to learn as much as possible. Asking questions is key!

We plan to visit 1-3 youth organisations each day. The outline of the week will be as follows. More detailed program will be sent to selected participants. 

  • 30th of November, arrival to Tallinn in Estonia
  • 1st of December, study visit in Tallinn
  • 2nd of December, study visit in Tartu
  • 3rd of December, networking and Study visit in Tallinn

Description

The Swedish, Danish and Estonian national agencies of Erasmus+ Youth and the European Solidarity Corps invite municipal representative and youth workers from Sweden, Denmark and Estonia to a 3-day study visit to Estonia with a focus on how to work strategically with the European youth programs. 

The activity is a 3-day study visit to x where the target group is municipal representatives actively engaged in youth work, from Sweden, Denmark and Estonia. The purpose of the study visit is to learn how municipalities in Estonia work with the European youth programs both practically and strategically. During the study visit, participant will also get the opportunity to exchange experiences and network with other municipalities regardingfuture collaborations. 

Criterias of participation

  • The activity is only open for municipality representatives and youth workers from Sweden, Denmark and Estonia. Applicants from other countries will not be considered for selection. 
  • The activity is open for newcomers and municipalities with previous experience of Erasmus+ Youth and the European Solidarity Corps.

Specific Criteras of participation

  • Swedish applicants need to have participated in a previous national networking meeting for municipalities working with Erasmus+ Youth and the European Solidarity Corps

Costs

Coverage of participation fee

There is no participation fee.

Coverage of travel costs

Travel costs are covered by your own National Agency. More detailed information about the travel guidelines will be provided to the selected participants closer to the study visit and if selected to participate.

Coverage of visa costs

Visa costs are covered by your own National Agency.

Coverage of other costs

Accommodation, meals, and programme costs are covered - please note that participants should be available for the full duration of the study visit. All participants will be accommodated in single rooms. We can arrange rooms adapted for persons with reduced mobility. If you need a personal assistant, we can cover the costs of an extra room in the same hotel.

For environmental reasons, the food provided will be mostly vegetarian. We will adapt your participation to other dietary needs.
