- Explore and experience role playing, interactive quests and escape game dynamics tailored for non-formal educational settings.
- Learn how to combine game based learning with non-formal methodology to diversify educational methods and increase young people's engagement.
- Develop practical skills in detecting social injustices, recognizing under-representation, and balancing power dynamics within group settings.
- Exchange good practices, build partnerships, and co-create new activity formats for future national or international initiatives.
Description
Participants will step into mythological narratives and gamified scenarios to explore power dynamics, overcome social stereotypes, and navigate the complex fabrics of modern inclusion and diversity in Youth Work.
Aim
The aim of this training course is to equip youth workers and practitioners with adventurous, game-based, and digital tools to understand diversity, embrace inclusion, cultivate empathy, combat social exclusion, and enhance active youth participation. Participants will have the opportunity to experience innovative non-formal learning methodologies and learn how to adapt these adventure-based tools for their own local youth work context.
