Improving Quality across Actions
We help improve the quality of all European Solidarity Corps actions – like volunteering, volunteering in teams, solidarity projects, and humanitarian aid volunteering. We do this by offering great learning opportunities and practical resources to support organisations and individuals.
We also work closely with our colleagues at SALTO Digital, SALTO Green, SALTO Inclusion & Diversity, and SALTO Participation to help everyone put the European Solidarity Corps programme priorities into action in their projects..
TOSCA is one of our flagship capacity-building activity designed for organisations holding the Quality Label in the European Solidarity Corps. Between 2020 and 2024, nearly 500 participants took part in one of the 27 TOSCA editions held across Europe and in neighbouring partner regions.
Participants explore the programme’s key actions – from Volunteering and Solidarity Projects to Humanitarian Aid – and gain practical knowledge on how to apply, support young people, and amplify project impact. The MOOC includes engaging video content, interactive resources, annual expert-led webinars, and networking opportunities, making it a dynamic entry point into the world of solidarity.
Volunteering for ALL is an introductory training course for organisations working directly with young people from disadvantaged backgrounds. It explores how to create meaningful and inclusive Volunteering activities through the European Solidarity Corps. Participants will discover funding opportunities, develop project ideas step-by-step, and learn how volunteering can be a powerful tool for social inclusion and personal growth. The course is coordinated by SALTO Inclusion&Diversity.
