SALTO European Solidarity Corps for National Agencies, SALTO Resource Centres

We cooperate with and support the work of National Agencies, other SALTO Resource Centres as well as external assessment experts to maximise the quality and impact of the European Solidarity Corps.

We support National Agency and SALTO colleagues through the coordination of various residential and online meetings, fostering exchange, collaboration, and continuous learning. Our initiatives include the Solidarity Colleague Support Groups, the informal #ICSOM – Informal Colleague Support Online Meetings, and regular European Solidarity Corps Staff Meetings. We also facilitate the Quality Label Working Group and offer an onboarding course for new ESC staff members, ensuring a smooth start.

To encourage ongoing knowledge sharing, we maintain an online knowledge management space for the National Agency and SALTO network – a hub to exchange practices, tools, and resources: Additionally, we provide materials around solidarity and support the strategic use of NETworking activities within the European Solidarity Corps, helping to strengthen connections and cooperation across Europe.

European Solidarity Corps Staff Meeting

Each year, SALTO European Solidarity Corps coordinates the annual meeting for officers working across all actions of the programme. The event provides space to exchange experiences, reflect on implementation, and explore the programme’s potential together. The meeting combines strategic dialogue with the European Commission, practical workshops, and networking moments—strengthening our shared commitment to solidarity across Europe.

Colleague Support Meeting for Solidarity project officers

The Solidarity Project Officer Meeting brings together National Agency staff working on Solidarity Projects to exchange knowledge, tools, and practices.
It offers space to explore the impact of local initiatives, discuss common challenges, and co-shape support strategies. Through peer learning, thematic sessions, and collaboration, the meeting strengthens the role of Solidarity Projects within the European Solidarity Corps and promotes their potential as drivers of local change.

International Quality Label expert meeting & training

The International Quality Label Meeting and Training are regular offers supported by the International Quality Label working group and bring together National Agency staff and external assessors to share knowledge, exchange experiences, and strengthen their skills. It offers practical sessions, peer learning, and networking opportunities—helping everyone involved to ensure high standards in volunteering activities and build a strong, inclusive European Solidarity Corps.

ESC Space Navigator - Onboarding Course for New National Agency Officers

The ESC Space Navigator is an online onboarding course for new and experienced officers working with the European Solidarity Corps in National Agencies and SALTO Centres.
With five short modules it guides through the programme basics, good practices, and how to connect policy with quality—helping officers feel at home in the ESC universe.
