The Erasmus+ Programme in the field of youth and European Solidarity Corps provide various opportunities for international learning mobility and youth work development. Therefore, the Programmes are also mechanisms to put into practice the youth policy priorities of the European Union, namely the EU Youth Strategy. In the context of cooperation with the Western Balkan countries, the Programmes also facilitate the EU accession in the field of youth by working towards the alignment of the relevant policies and priorities.

SALTO SEE supports the development of youth work and volunteering in the Western Balkan Partner Countries by organising various support activities in accordance with Programmes’ objectives and priorities and with the perspective to encourage the use of the Programmes. These activities target various actors (youth workers, youth leaders, educators, youth organisations, youth policy-makers…) and take different formats, such as training courses and workshops, seminars, partnership-building activities, study visits, conferences, symposia etc. The support activities are exclusively transnational, meaning that they gather participants at least from two, and in most cases, several countries.
