- Understand the practical aspects of sending and hosting volunteers within the European Solidarity Corps framework, including project implementation and volunteer management.
- Clarify the roles and responsibilities of all actors involved in ESC projects, including learning support and coordination mechanisms.
- Gain practical knowledge and motivation to integrate the solidarity dimension meaningfully into the projects.
- Identify ways to find suitable partners for ESC projects and understand the characteristics of a quality partnership.
Description
This training course aims at gathering South-Med ESC project coordinators & mentors and organisation representatives with a good knowledge of the European Solidarity Corps, willing to be active in the programme but are now lacking the know-how.
This training course consists of 3 full working days (19th, 20th & 21st of May).
Objectives:
Understand the practical aspects of sending and hosting volunteers within the European Solidarity Corps framework, including project implementation and volunteer management.
· Clarify the roles and responsibilities of all actors involved in ESC projects, including learning support and coordination mechanisms.
· Gain practical knowledge and motivation to integrate the solidarity dimension meaningfully into the projects.
· Identify ways to find suitable partners for ESC projects and understand the characteristics of a quality partnership.
Target group:
- Youth workers from organisations who have a Quality Label, but did not send or receive volunteers yet
- ESC Mentor
- ESC Project Manager
- ESC responsible of project
- ESC project coordinator, ...
If possible, SALTO EuroMed will select 2 representatives per organisation.
The training Course is for you if:
- You are a member of an Organisation with Quality Label,
- You have knowledge about the European Solidarity Corps,
- You have no / few practical experience in the European Solidarity Corps programme,
- You are interested to be active in the European Solidarity Corps programme.
