Description
Sport is much more than just physical activity. It is also a powerful tool for promoting social inclusion, empowering young people from disadvantaged backgrounds and encouraging their active participation in society.
During this activity, participants will visit organisations that use sport as a tool for social inclusion, youth empowerment and community development. The programme will also include dedicated partnership-building sessions designed to foster sustainable international cooperation and support the development of future Erasmus+ projects.
Objectives:
- To observe and learn from good practices implemented by organisations using sport as a tool for social inclusion;
- To improve the knowledge and know-how of sport staff;
- To exchange experiences, approaches and methods through peer learning;
- To establish sustainable international partnerships;
- To explore opportunities for developing future cooperation projects within the Erasmus+ Mobility of Staff in the field of Sport.
Target Group:
- Youth workers, athletes, coaches, trainers, volunteers, staff and representatives of organisations working in the fields of sport, primarily in grassroot sport, social inclusion and related areas, particularly organisations using sport for social purposes rather than for professional or competitive purposes;
- Participants who are motivated to establish international partnerships and develop future Erasmus+ cooperation projects;
- Participants who are able to communicate and work effectively in English.
