Objectives: 

• Explore practices on youth engagement, involvement and participation in geographically challenged areas 

• Encourage organisations from rural areas to explore the possibilities of youth exchanges and youth participation projects under Erasmus+ Youth  

• Promote partnerships for future projects 

Description

The study visit look at different ways of involving and engaging young people from rural areas, supporting their participation on different societal levels.

The study visit will look at youth participation in different organisations in northermost Europe, both in Finland and Norway. We look at practices on governmental, municipal, regional and non-governmental organisations.

At the same time we will promote Erasmus+ Programme as a tool to increase the involvement of young people on local level. You will find information on youth exchanges and participation projects that can help in increasing participation of young people.
